David MacIntyre, Executive Director
David MacIntyre has worked in the fields of Mental Health, Corrections and Addictions Treatment. He has worked as a therapist doing both individual and group counseling and has focused on policy and program development. He assisted in developing a new approach to working with youth and assisted in the creation of the Toronto Drug Treatment Court and program.
More recently, David worked for the Department of Justice in designing and operating the Drug Treatment Court for Vancouver. As Program Director, David was responsible for the design and operation of the pilot program as well as the functioning of a fully staffed treatment centre.

Liz Hatton, Director - Finance and Human Resources
Liz Hatton is a Certified General Account with over 15 years experience assisting non-profit organizations with financial and human resources management. Ms. Hatton joined the organization in 2002.

Sue Baker, Director - Supported Housing and Community Services
Sue joined MPA in 1990, after completing her Bachelors Degrees with a major in Physical Education and English. In the ensuing years Sue has enjoyed various progressive positions with the organization, starting as an Activities Coordinator at the Community Resource Centre, to her current position of operational leadership in the Supported Housing and Community Services programs.

Rudy Young, Director - Licensed Housing
Rudy Young is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with 20 years of experience. He has worked in emergency and community mental health settings, has been a research associate at UBC and has managed long term care facilities. He joined MPA Society in 2007.

Lynda Kennedy, Director - Development
Lynda Kennedy joined the Motivation, Power and Achievement Society in 2006 as the Director of Development. Ms. Kennedy is a professional development officer with a diverse knowledge of community activities from both a business and service-based perspective with over 15 years in the business community. Lynda also worked with local and national not-for-profit organizations to provide funding for programs and services that address family, health and social service issues in the community. Ms. Kennedy has participated in several capacities ranging from coordinating community fundraising events, co-chairing a national consortium of fundraisers and managing corporate donors and provincial giving programs; working collaboratively with organizations, government, special groups and individuals to address community issues.
